We choose only natural, clean, most economical, ethically sourced and environmentally safe ingredients that are cruelty free and organic and vegan as much as possible. Utilizing colors, scents and textures, we aim to help you find a little happiness in every use while aiming to keep you and your body feeling healthy and bright without harmful toxins and chemicals. Our goal is to help energies around the world without adding a single harmful carbon footprint to the earth. Even our packaging is sourced from companies guaranteeing recycled and biodegradable packages.
Without compromising the quality of our products and services, we do offer such a large variety for variety of senses and skin types, but also because we know sometimes you just want that calming effect and other days you need the energetic boost. So why not?
We make sure options are available to your needs and preferences so you can find what you are in the mood for. Availability is seasonal, but anything is always possible if you just ask. Honesty is always our policy and if we can't provide we will be sure to explain the reasons why.
Our soaps and candles can be made in any size, scent, shape you prefer, even if you don't find it on our site.
Our candles are made only with 100% soy wax, which is plant-based, renewable, and burns cleaner than paraffin wax, of which we never use! Our wicks are all lead-free cotton or wood wicks, and all of our scents are chosen from reliable companies that make pure essential oils or phthalate-free, chemical-free fragrances,
Our soaps, scrubs, bath salts, melts, shower-steamers, balms and butteres all come with the same honest transparency of less is truly more. Maybe the aroma of our products don't become overpowering to the point its all you smell for days on end in your household or skin after just one use, because they are natural, gentle and pure with intent in being made to help heal and nourish you through all of your senses combined, mind, body and soul. That is why we are so passionate in being as accomodating to your needs as possible, because everyone deserves to be able to find something that will make one smile inside and out.
Whether it be for your hands, feet or body, we have different sized and shaped soaps carefully hand crafted for the sensitive skin, dry skin and even moody skin. There are so many combinations to choose from not to confuse you, but to accomodate to your needs . Our two most common and popular soaps contain oatmeal, coconut, glycerin, castor oil and then the carrier oil of your choice based on your skin needs (ie: light oils like sunflower or apricot oil to produce a more light, lathering cleanse, vs. argon or jojoba oil that give a softer, more hydrating and creamy feel to your skin), or soap with shea butter mixed in for a more nourishing, deep hydrating feel to your skin when needed most. Though we understand and respect those who choose non-plant based soaps like goat's milk, honey, or another common ingredient, tallow; we prefer to continue the path in choosing what is not necessary for the same end result of our skin. Below is a list of currently available vegan, cruelty free and ethically sourced ingredients we use to make our soap, which is all guaranteed sourced from reliable compaines: (we continue to research for the best from the best as our journey continues)
soap base: activated charcoal, aloe vera, argon, coco butter, coconut, glycerin (opaque or clear), oatmeal, shea butter, olive oil.
carrier oils: apricot, argon, castor, grapeseed,jojoba, sunflower, sweet almond
essential oils & naturally-derived synthetic fragrances: we have a variety of essential oils that are pure and a variety of fragrances made by combining EO together, like our New Years Glow, Amber Light and some other Winter's Delight scents.
While we do our best to always use pure EO for aromatherapy and additional natural vibes of healing properties for your senses, we also amke sure any fragrance oils come from the most well-trusted companies that make their safe-synthetic fragrances from plant-derived combinations and non-toxic chemical free, including harmful chemicals like phthalates (endocrine disruptors) and VOCs (respiratory irritants), causing allergies and health issues. The "safe synthetics" are modern, lab-created versions free from these toxins, offering consistent, hypoallergenic scents that are better for sensitive people and the environment. The unsafe ones use petroleum derivatives, releasing VOCs, formaldehyde, and benzene, while safer options focus on plant-based or clean synthetics with transparent labeling.

Being a very sensitive pair ourselves, Jo&Kris both acknowledge that as careful as we remain in helping to make products more environmentally, pet and human safe, we cannot guarantee a product is 100% allergen free if we don't know your specific allergies. Please contact us for special orders so we can do our best to work with you in avoiding any known allergens or sensitivities you might have prior to purchasing our products.
Our shower steamers are made with essential oils that will help calm, elevate or clear your sense, while our bath melts are made with the same safe ingredients and additional oils to help nourish and delight your skin while soaking in a bath. Both are safe to use either in the shower or bath, while the bath melts may be a little more slippery on the floor of your shower due to the extra nourishing oils, so just be mindful where they are placed if the oils run under your feet.
How to use shower steamers: Take steamer out of its wrapping and place it on the shower floor away from the direct water stream, letting the hot steam activate it to release scents for aromatherapy; splash it occasionally for more intensity, breathe deeply, and enjoy the spa-like experience without letting it dissolve too quickly. Large steamers will last 2 to 3 showers while smaller steamers may last up to 2, depending how long you take your shower and how directly exposed they are to the water.
How to use bath bombs and bath melts: fill your bathtub with warm water, unwrap the bath bomb/melt, drop it in, and then soak in the tub as it fizzes and dissolves. If prefer a possible bubble bath experience, you can try running the bath bomb/melt in the running water.
Please note, some sink to the bottom in the beginning due to the weight of the nourishing oils, and will eventually resurface with or without your help in doing so.
Bath salts can be added to an already drawn water bath either for your body or feet while foaming bath salts can be added directly to the running water to make a bubble bath delight . Containing epsom salt to help relax and relieve muscles and Dead Sea salt to detoxify, both salts are incorporated with nourishing oils and essential oils to hydrate your skin throughout the process.
Instructions for use: run a warm bath, add entire contents of salts to the running water to help them dissolve, swirl to mix, then soak for 15-30 minutes; rinse briefly and moisturize afterward for best results, ensuring water is warm but not hot for relaxation and skin absorption. If using for feet, just cut the amount added to the bath in half. You also can add as little or great of an amount as you choose pending your personal likes.
Our salt and sugar scrubs come in a variety of exfoliating experiences!
Salt scrubs offer powerful exfoliation, smoothing rough skin by buffing away dead cells, while their minerals help detoxify, reduce inflammation, unclog pores, and boost circulation, leading to softer, clearer, and more vibrant skin that better absorbs moisturizers. They're excellent for rough areas like elbows and feet and promote relaxation and muscle relief, but should be used gently, typically once a week
We make salt scrubs with or without kaolin clay to give you the option of combining gentle exfoliation with detoxifying clay to create a nourishing body polish that buffs away dead skin, purifies pores, and leaves skin soft and glowing.
The scrub an be used directly on your skin during your shower or bath to help exfoliate dead skin and hydrate new skin. Recommended not to be used more than once a week for exfoliation only.
Need something a little gentler and less drying? Our variable types of sugar scrubs help bring moisture into your skin while also gentle exfoliating. Granulated sugar offers a more intense exfoliation with larger crystals, great for tougher skin, while brown sugar is finer, softer, and less abrasive, making it ideal for sensitive skin or facial scrubs due to its gentle feel and added moisture. Looking for an even more intense moisturizing feel after exfoliation, then our whipped body scrubs are for you! These scrubs are incorporated with a whipped shea or coconut butter that once rinsed, continue to leave your skin feeling softer than ever before, allowing your skin to lock in moisture while being exfoliated. If a rich lather, less oily feel is preferred, we then recommend requesting our scrubs with the addition of castille soap.
Use any of our sugar scrubs 2–3 times per week for most skin types, or once a week for sensitive skin.
Our whipped body butters are oil-based formulas, often combining shea, mango, coconut and/or cocoa butters with nourishing oils like argan, jojoba, or or lighter feel oils, like sunflower, grapeseed or apricot oil. The whipped texture makes them light and airy, melting easily into the skin without a greasy residue. They are best applied to damp skin immediately after showering to seal in moisture.
Try our capacua and bacuri butter mix for a silky feel that lasts longer on your skin than the nutty scent.
Our lip and skin balms have a higher wax content, which forms a more durable, long-lasting protective barrier. This makes them excellent for specific high-exposure areas like lips and hands that need intense protection against cold wind, sun, or frequent washing.
